CEDO's 3rd Annual Community Collaborative & Industry Luncheon convened regional leaders for a conversation about shaping Oregon's economic future. Keynote speaker Francie Genz of Formation challenged attendees to think bigger about business-led collaboration, while the Strategic Industry Leadership Panel highlighted voices from Knife River, Penderia Technologies, and PeaceHealth. Separately, a fireside conversation at the University of Oregon on April 21 brought together Oregon's first Chief Privacy Officer and UO's School of Computer and Data Science to discuss the state's evolving AI and privacy framework. And through the Lane County Construction Aggregate Sector Partnership, employers are actively connecting high school juniors and seniors to skilled trades careers through a three-part Skilled Trades Career Connection Series.
